Utah State University is using Nature's Notebook to collect flowering data to test differences among species in our area and learn how to measure phenophases. We aim to establish an undergraduate group conducting regular surveys, and perhaps develop a short data paper using Nature's Notebook data.
Plan to Use Nature's Notebook for::
Answering science questions
Studying invasive species phenology
Studying pollinator phenology
Studying climate change impacts
Status and trends (or baseline) monitoring
Getting students involved with research
Getting students outside
Engaging the public
Contributing to a national effort
Entrypoint for citizen science
Native American students, as part of USU's NASMP program.
