Alaska Peninsula- Puale Bay Plant Phenology June-Sept 2010

Abstract:
For the duration of a three month field camp at Puale Bay, 43 individual plants were monitored weekly for phenology phases. The weather was frequently windy and rainy, and as a result some plants did not exhibit all typical phenophases. The plants were each marked with an orange flag and respective GPS coordinates were obtained. Wildlife proved problematic- removing both flags and monitored plants in some cases.
