Blanca Wetlands Baseline Bird Data

Abstract:
This data was collected over a period of 13 years. It focuses mostly on water bird species and includes all water birds seen on a route of specific ponds on an annual basis. Observations were made primarily from a vehicle using a 20 - 60 x Swarovski spotting scope and/or 10 x 32 power Swarovski binoculars. It was collected with the main purpose being baseline data, general species abundance and presence/absence. It is a great way to learn about what birds are present at Blanca Wetlands in Southern Colorado.
