Master Gardener Training Course, version 3

This 3 hour workshop was used as a content area for the Pima County, Arizona Master Gardener Training Program.  It provides an opening activity, 1.5 hour lecture about the relavence of phenology to gardening, including ecology, climate, historical data collection, and working examples of how phenology is used in a variety of Extension programs across the US.  It also provides details for participation in a locally focused phenology research program and the Tucson Phenology Trail. The workshop concludes with a site-based data gathering experience. 

Also included is a 1 hour introductory lecture delivered to the Yavapai County, Arizona Master Gardeners. Yavapai County Master Gardeners participate in the Central Arizona Phenology Trails Network.
