Observing life cycles and change in the Desert Botanical Garden
This 2.0 hour workshop was presented as part of the "Teens in the Garden Program" at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, AZ. It covers the introduction to ecology, climate and biodiversity, phenology monitoring, and careers and internships in the field of phenology. It was also an introduction to the Nature's Notebook monitoring project which will be on going at the Desert Botanical Garden. The teens are collecting observations monthly as they participate in the program during the 2013-2014 school year.
