Phenology Celebrations

Easter Lily CactusPhenology Celebrations were designed to celebrate Local Phenology Leaders, and their Local Phenology Projects, who are implementing Nature's Notebook citizen science programs at their sites. We also celebrate partner organizations who provide opportunities for the community to learn more about our natural world though Nature's Notebook. Phenology is a phenomenal way to teach observation skills, and the skill of paying attention to your surroundings. 

If you have a group site or a Phenology Network, consider hosting some phenology events each year during the month of October. Let us know if you are celebrating and we can help you publicize!
