Phenology is the study of the timing of seasonal change in plant and animal species. Increasingly, researchers are recognizing the importance of phenology data to understanding the pattern and nature of climate change in Minnesota. If you enjoy observing and tracking seasonal changes around you, your observations can contribute to something much bigger—they can fill gaps in Minnesota’s phenological records. This site provides all the information you need to get involved, including guides to consistent observation, a simple reporting interface, and connections to other Minnesota observers.
