Two phenology walks and a 45 minute lecture were given at the 2012 Mesquite Harvest Festival. The Mason Center is a site on the Tucson Phenology Trail.

This 1 hour presentation was an overview of the importance of phenological monitoring for gardening enthusiasts and professionals. It advertised the Tucson Phenology Trail and the Pima Extension Offices participation in data collection at the MG site.
