Nature's Notebook - A tool for educational programs: Teaching science literacy and climate change 07/19/2012

This is a poster, which can be used as a generic educational poster template, discusses the use of Nature's Notebook as a teaching tool for multiple audiences and educational goals.  It is posted in PowerPoint format so it can be edited as needed.  

2012 American Society of Horticulture Science Talk - Training Extension Volunteers to Track Climate Change using Phenology Monitoring 08/04/2012

Harvest Festival at the Tucson Audubon Mason Center 11/03/2012

Two phenology walks and a 45 minute lecture were given at the 2012 Mesquite Harvest Festival. The Mason Center is a site on the Tucson Phenology Trail. 

Pima Master Gardeners Monthly Meeting 11/07/2012

This 1 hour presentation was an overview of the importance of phenological monitoring for gardening enthusiasts and professionals.  It advertised the Tucson Phenology Trail and the Pima Extension Offices participation in data collection at the MG site. 

Tucson Botanical Garden and the Phenology Trail 11/08/2012

This 1 hour presentation was for the monthly docent meeting at the Tucson Botanical Garden.  It was an introduction to phenology and gardening practices and an invitation to join the Tucson Phenology Trail by monitoring species on site.
