Distribution and Purchase Options for Cloned Lilacs

We have limited funding to support distribution of cloned lilacs to a small number of sites each year, as part of the Cloned Plants Project. We give priority in distributing these plants to locations that will increase overall geographic coverage (i.e., sites further away from the closest lilac observer have higher priority), and co-location sites that already record environmental information (especially weather data). If you live where lilacs grow (generally in USDA zones 3a-7a, see map) and are interested in getting cloned lilacs to observe, please select yes on the registration page. We will put you on the waiting list and contact you as plants become available.

Another option for observers who want to obtain cloned lilacs as quickly as possible, and are willing to help us stretch our limited resources, is to purchase them directly from the supplier, Jung Seed Company.
